General Information
We
recommend you observe the following aspects
Hot
pants and mini skirts are not acceptable. Women are encourage
to wear light wear skirts or trousers. A top with exposes
the chest and shoulder are unacceptable. Nudity is totally
unacceptable. Over public place display of affection is discouraged.
When entering a Nepalese house or temple always remove shoes
at the doorsteps. Many Hindu temples may not open to non-hindus
, so always seek permission. Begging is a harsh reality in
most of the third world countries and Nepal is not exception.
Try to avoid giving money to street beggars. Don’t pass
your balloons, candy and money to village children as it encourages
them to beg.
Photography
Whenever
taking photographs of the locals, please seek their wishes.
Old people often do not wished to photographed. We suggest
that you purchase your film before leaving your hotel. High
quality print film processing is available in Kathmandu and
is slightly cheaper than overseas.
Security
All
passports, air tickets, valuables, excess cash and traveler’s
chouse could be left at the hotel safe deposit box. While
on trek your money and camera should be kept with you at all
times. Do not leaving them lying around unattended in the
camp along the trial. Theft is not a major problem in Nepal
since it is a very poor country and temptation should be minimized.

How
your trekking days look like
Generally
a typical trekking day starts around 6 A.M. with a cup of
hot tea followed by bowl of warm water for your washing and
cleaning. After packing up your stuff, breakfast will be served
and trek will start. Our well-trained field staffs will pack
all the equipment and the porter will carry to the next camping
site. The trekkers have to carry their personal belongings
of their need for the day, like water bottle, rain gear, Camera
etc.
The trekkers can decide their own taste having enough time
for viewing the beautiful landscape; taking photographs and
making short pause. The walk to your lunch spot normally 3
hours. A short lunch will be served. The afternoon walk takes
about 3 hours to reach at your night camp. Tea and snacks
will be served while the field staff pitches camp. The dinner
will be served around 6 to 7 P.M. in the dining tent lighted
with a pressurized lantern and furnished with table and camping
tools. High quality tents, foam mattresses are provided and
in every camp there will be a simple toilet tent.
Trek
Gradation
Grade
1 : Easy trekking by Himalayan standard is generally between
900 meter to 2000 meter. This trip can be enjoyed by anyone
who leads a reasonable active life. Walking about four to
five hours trek per day.
Grade
2 : Some previous hill walking experience is desirable. Relatively
low-altitude treks crossing passes of no more than 14000 feet.
Grade
3 : Reasonable demanding, trekking at an altitude up to 12000
ft to 16000 ft with side trips to higher elevation.
Grade
4 : Challenging long distance treks for the fit enthusiast.
Each trek crosses at least one passes of over 16000 feet.
Grade
5 : All the participants should be fit and excellent health;
capable of carrying a back packs. Crosses a pass in excess
of 19000 feet.
Trekking Equipment

gear and utensils. You need to bring only your sleeping bags
and personal clothing like:
